Critical Mass Nairobi partnered with UNHabitat to organize the 2021 Placemaking Event
Placemaking week in the easiest terms is a design process that allows people to actively participate in how their 'places' cities are being designed. Placemaking activities tend to be low cost but very impactful. The activities are also vibrant and visual.
The theme for the 2021 event was 'Cycling for the love of Nairobi River'. There were more than 300 cyclists who braved the cold rainy morning to attend the event.
